What are Probiotics?

Probiotics are beneficial live microbes / bacteria with numerous health benefits, when administered in adequate amounts and in the right way. Different species of bacteria exerts different benefits in the human body.

Prebiotics are compounds that cannot be digested by the body but may be fermented by probiotics to enhance the health of the body – stimulating growth and activity of probiotic bacteria thereby strengthening the intestinal barrier and promoting good digestion.
